Collision
Collision :- A collision or impact is an event in which two or more objects come into contact with each other for a very small duration, exchanging energy and momentum by applying relatively large forces on each other.
When two objects collide, forces act between them due to direct contact, strong repulsion, or connecting links. These forces are much stronger than any other external forces, so we can ignore those smaller effects. The collision happens very quickly compared to the time we usually focus on, so we only consider the motion just before and after the impact, not during it. The duration of a collision varies widely—tiny elementary particles collisions last as short as 10−23 seconds, while galaxy collisions can take millions of years. In everyday life, collisions like those between two balls typically last between 10−3 seconds and a few seconds.
